The West Orange Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of the prestigious 2009 Chamber Awards. This year’s winners will be honored during the Chamber’s February 3, 2009 Prestigious Awards Luncheon at St Pauls Presbyterian Family Life Center in Ocoee and sponsored by Regions Bank, CentruryLink and DRB Benefits Group. Congratulations to the following outstanding citizens in our community:
• Gavin and Annette Ford , Covelli Enterprises, Jerry Chicone Award for establishing a philanthropic legacy for enhancing and improving our community
• Russ Salerno, Lifetime Director Award in appreciation of all his accomplishments while serving on the Board of Directors
• Michael Waldrop, The Sam Hovsepian Award for contributions, service, and leadership to the community
• Mary Anne Swickerath, Mary VanDeventer –The Spirit of West Orange Award honors women who demonstrate excellence in her profession and inspires other women to succeed while contributing time and talent for the betterment of the community
• Bob Holston, George Bailey Award for demonstrated excellence in fostering partnerships for the benefit of the local community
• The Johnny Damon Foundation, Bert Roper Award for improving the well-being and quality of life of our community
• University of Central Florida as Member of the Year for their work to enhance the business climate within the West Orange community and have exceeded expectations in volunteer assignments
• June Engineering, the Chairman’s Award for exceptional service to the Chamber and the community during the previous year
• Cara Hennen, the Ambassador of the Year Award in recognition of endless dedication, energy and service to the West Orange Chamber of Commerce
